Different forms of artistic expression and modes of thinking permeate Terroir Sketching and are presented across exhibitions in various formats.

Using the land as an experimental theater, we build tactile, participatory, and generative creative practices and an artistic root‑network.

Artistic translation
It takes terroir as its cultural substrate and, through cross‑media research, excavates the implicit poetics hidden in everyday life and overlooked cultural folds. It emphasizes intellectual rigor, criticality, and experimentalism. Tradition does not merely mean preserving the past; it is also a way of connecting past and present. We seek new methods for understanding the past so that reflections on it can still resonate with the present.

• Functional / site‑based practice
We consistently treat the locality of art as an actionable practical mode. Through field research we decode the “genes” of terroir and transform them into material narratives across different media. Focusing on the real transformative power of artistic intervention in society, we build a practice network that integrates research, creation, and application.
