Material Reprocessing Center
This project is a cross‑disciplinary practice in environmental materials and reuse, aiming to become an integrated center for processing discarded food materials through multiple pathways and media.
It brings together perspectives from cooking, science, art, anthropology, sociology, and other fields, and leverages the resources of the Our R&D unit to subject discarded ingredients and kitchen waste to multiple stages of processing, striving for “zero waste.”
The center will also serve as a hub linking diverse academic disciplines and institutions; its upcycled products will allow the materials’ residual value to be fully realized, reintegrating them into everyday life and genuinely helping those in need.
At the same time, the project actively promotes and encourages action across all levels of society—through advocacy and education—so that everyone can contribute in their own way to conserving resources.
